Shinin' All Summer

The latest (and by latest, I mean for the past year and a half) beauty trend has been highlighting and using glitter almost everywhere. First, I'm not the biggest fan of the highlighting movement, well, not on my face, at least. However, on my body, I love it! There are plenty of highlighters and body glitters on the market, but I wanted to show you all my favorites that I'll be using all Summer long (really in any season that I'll show skin, lol).

Fenty Beauty

Body Lava in Brown Sugar $59

Body Lava goes on smooth, has a sweet scent, and the gold glitter is the perfect match for brown-toned skin. I was a little on edge about the price being $59, but I ended up receiving this as a gift and was ecstatic. None the less, I believe it's worth the price.

Now, for everyone that's a fan of Fenty Beauty, you're aware that this product is sold out, but with prayer (and trolling Fenty Beauty's IG lol), I believe we will get a restock. I still have my eyes on "Who Needs Clothes."

Fenty Beauty

Trophy Wife was all over social media when it was released back in 2017. I'm super late with purchasing it, but I'm so happy I did! I only use it on my chest and back (until I'm more talented in the makeup department). Best believe this is a product that'll last a long time. It takes one dip of my makeup brush into the pot for shimmer that will last all day.

Fenty Beauty

Firstly, I'm just as in love with the product packaging as I am with the actual glitter. The vintage-inspired pom pom reminded me of beauty products from the 40s and 50s. The extra-fine rose gold shimmer within the puff goes on lightly. I would recommend tapping the pom on the desired area with some force. Also, the product's vanilla-coconut scent is a bonus!

The Body Shop

Lastly, an oldy but a goody! The gold glitter in this product goes on and stays on. This is a dry oil (meaning that it doesn't leave an oily feel on your skin, nor will it get on your clothing), so I definitely recommend applying a moisturizer before using this.

I hope you enjoyed!
