Top Beauty Picks: 2018

2018 has been one for the books in terms of skincare. I dabbled in beauty for a bit at the beginning of the year, buying products here and there, researching brands, but the ultimate push came this summer with my internship at InStyle magazine. I came back to Atlanta with knowledge of the magazine industry and a suitcase full of beauty products. Below are a few of my top picks from 2018 that I’ll definitely be using in 2019.

First Aid Beauty

My absolute favorite face wash! I’m a sucker for cream cleansers and this one contains salicylic acid also. It’s a win win!

·

Kiehl’s

I slept on this for about a year. Once I finally tried it, I never looked back. Moisturizing is key in healthy skin, and this is my go-to.

·

Laneige

Smells great, is very moisturizing, and lasts forever. I often use this as a regular lip balm; it has the best gloss and tinge of pink that makes it perfect for daytime wear.

·

Tatcha

A splurge, but worth it! I always notice immediate brightness in my skin after rinsing this off.

·

Ole Henriksen

The serum of all serums. Gives an immediate glow, and evens out your skin tone over time.

·

Drunk Elephant

Fun fact: The donut is just for fun lol. I fell in love with this mask after the first use. I immediately noticed smoother skin, and after a few weeks of usage, my acne scars were fading away. It’s definitely worth the splurge.

Best,
